For the last 30 years, Registered Black Angus bulls have been used in our commercial cattle herds however, we had only raised commercial cattle. We didn’t have the time, facilities or resources to take on such an endeavor as the registered side of the cattle industry.

After purchasing additional acreage and allowing us to move further out of town with room to start building the appropriate facilities, we made the decision to take a shallow step into the registered cattle business. Cabral Livestock partnered with Fields Angus on the purchase of Montana Donna 9048 from Montana Angus Ranch. Since then, we have purchased some very well-bred Registered Black Angus cover bulls and a handful of registered females and embryos.
