AQHA Stallions

At Cabral Livestock we take pride in raising our own horses that we use both on the ranch and in the arena. We have built our breeding program around what works best for us and the type of horses that we find most beneficial. To us, these are horses that have good minds and the athletic ability to be successful in multiple disciplines, be sound enough to hold up both physically, structurally and mentally, and have the heart, grit and try to put in a full days’ work.

MP Ready To Win Some

Registration Number: AQHA 5642109
Date of Birth: 4/13/2014
Sire: PC Frenchmans Hayday
Dam: MP Ready To Drift x Lone Drifter

Sired by the legendary PC Frenchmans Hayday “Dinero” from the Potter Ranch out of Marana, Arizona, “Tucson” is out of one of the ranch’s great mares, MP Ready To Drift. She had an LTE of over $60,000 in her lifetime (heading, heeling & barrel racing), along with Dinero’s LTE of over $400,000 (heeling & barrel racing), making Tucson out of two proven performers and sibling to multiple World Champions and NFR Qualifiers.

Tucson spends most of his days on the ranch sorting cows, dragging calves to the branding fire and gathering cattle out of the mountains. He has an incredible mind, an unbeatable work ethic, and athletic talent that most can only dream of. He was started on the barrels a little over a year ago and has won close to $10,000 with VERY limited hauling. He is better mannered than most geldings, and when he does get to go to town, no one believes he is a stallion because of his incredible disposition. To go along with that note, we hauled him to a barrel race last summer in a 20’ Stock Trailer with four mares and no dividers.

Along with running barrels, he has also been headed and heeled off of, as well as picked up bucking bulls at the rodeo. Even though he only stands at 14.3 hands, he has no idea some might consider him a “little guy.” He weighs approximately 1,100 pounds and has a heart of gold! He is 5-panel N/N. He has a very limited foal crop with his first foals arriving in 2019. Tucson’s foals are eligible for VGBRA, BRN4D and a handful of other various Incentive Programs.

We are not currently breeding any outside mares but will be offering foals from his 2023 crop for sale. We have six mares due this spring. We may offer frozen semen in the future but it is not available at this time.
